Still bathing in the sufi 'effect' after watching Rockstar. A brilliant, honest attempt by Imtiaz Ali to explore the cathartic journey of the 'soul' towards a destination called pure love. The film could have been tighter in the second half, but it didn't really matter since King Kapoor was 'energizing' every scene with his 'epic' performance. Salaams to Anil Mehta (for adding that lyrical quality to each frame), ARR (your best is yet to come) and Shammi Kapoor (wish he had more scenes) for making the journey so unforgettable.
Special mention: Kumud Mishra (playing Jordan's manager) was delectable. A commendable debut for the ravishing Nargis Fakhri (despite her stony expressions in some places). And three cheers for Pitampura (my neighbourhood) for getting a place in the Bollywood map.
